I have accidently damaged +ve input point on the circuit board , is it ok to solder +ve input to c1 directly ?

Yes. As long as no other traces were broken, that should work.

thanks it works for connection, I get output voltage of 4.94 V on USB outer pins , i have soldered the inner 2 pins of USB as per instructions.

but when I connect iphone 5 , I get error message "this accessary may not be supported"

I have changed AA batteries (duracell, ikea, reachargeable), what should be my input voltage to be able to make it work?

This isn't a power issue but a phone negotiation issue. the inner connections have to be correct for the phone to recognize the charger.
