I bought the 6V 5.6W SOLAR PANEL which is expected to give 6V at 930 mA. I am getting 6.6 V at 40 mA when placed under a lamp. How can I get the amperage to go up?

Put it in the sun :-)
The spectrum of the light coming from an ordinary light bulb is not the same as that of sunlight. In order to get full power output from a solar panel, the panel has to be in bright sunlight.
