Hi all,
Another quick question about my wave bubble. I finally got one working! I'm using the built in antennae, and the range seems pretty small, maybe 2 feet. Is this about what other people are getting? How much would using an external antenna boost this?

Re: Approximate Range
What frequency ranges are you trying? The PCB antennas are tuned to about 850/1900 iirc, and the gain stage is tuned to that as well, so if you are trying different frequencies then you would need to redesign the PCB antenna or use an external, as well as possibly changing some capacitor values. Also, the frequency range should be as small as possible, to maximise the power in that spectrum.

Re: Approximate Range
I am indeed using the cell phone spectrum. I do still have to try tweaking some capacitor values...
I'v found that the range is actually far greater depending on the cell phone. On an iphone, the jammer worked from 15 feet, but On my Verizon smarphone i had to be much closer...
This would seem to indicate that it is performing better on the GSM spectrum than the CDMA spectrum.
