ccd camera jammer?
Love the wave bubble, fantastic. Would it be possible to make a similar device that would interfere instead with closed circuit video cameras? Again, with maybe a 20 foot radius? I can only hope.

Re: ccd camera jammer?
You could modify a microwave oven, but that would definitely be very dangerous for any human around not to mention that it's not handy.
Or you could use a powerful RF transmitter to induce large currents in the camera's circuitry effectively destroying the device,
but this is quite unrealistic since you need a lot of energy and it probably won't work if the camera housing is made of metal.
Even if the camera's signal is wirelessly transmitted over the air you need a lot power to interfere with it because you'd have to jam on the receiver's side.
Another idea is to take a very bright infrared light to blind the CCD optics, but this only works in some cases where the camera has no IR filter.
After all, I can't think of a suitable device that's able to do the job and also fits into your pocket.
Just a wild guess here: you're living in the UK?

The Wavebubble can already jam most wireless cameras, since they invariably operate somewhere on the 2.4ghz band. There's really no way to effectively "jam" a closed circuit wired camera without destroying it or going to pretty extreme lengths.

So we first have to come up with some sort of device that can detect the ccd sensor. That's what I get from that gizmag artical.
