Bypasing attenuator

Post by Bandit »

If using the recommended VCOs, thier output is less than the maximum input to the amplifier ICs. Has anyone tried to bypass the attenuator by making a direct link from the VCO straight to the amp by bridging the gaps with copper tape and/or solder?
