Amplifier

Post by dennis84 »

Hi, i searched a little of the site from sirenza, and also watched what was available on digikey
I saw the SXB-4089Z amplifier and it's available per piece on digikey, and also better amplification than the SXA-389B
But are there any complications if i used the SXB, like more power needed -> other ic's to give the power?

Thanks!

Yes you can use a different amplifier, but read the datasheet to see what passive parts will have to change and what the power requirements are.
i previously used that chip but i think it saturated too quickly and required 7v instead of 5V.
YMMV
