mounting on mountain bike

Post by sfsteve »

wanted to mount on front wheel but couldnt get magnet to stay in place on rockshox. tried back wheel but cant seem to get the sensor to see the magnet and change the image. I even stacked 2 magnets to bring it closer to the sensor. any ideas?

you can use any piece of steel or plastic or whatever to get it close enough, it needs to be < 1/2" away. Make sure you have the south side pointed out
use plenty-o-tape!

uugh. turns out the prob wasnt the magnet mounting...it was that the default rotation offset is the 255 max...so I wasnt spinning enough to see it change.
ok now.
