so i have bought a 60 conductor version of this cable http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/e ... 15H3ZM9Zbl
because i will be mounting the LED's at a remote location from the actual PCB
can i remove the resistor networks from the PCB, and put them on the far side of the cable where the LED's are, so i can have a single VCC line going to the resistor networks at the far side ? rather than having to use a length of ribbon cable for the anodes of the LED's and another length for the cathodes ...
using a ribbon cable

Re: using a ribbon cable
Just make sure your VCC line is sufficient for the combined currrent for all the leds.so i can have a single VCC line
