Would it be possible to make the SpokePOV with 3mm LED's and increase the number of them used? Thus increasing the number of 595's.
If the AtTiny cant handle it could an Atmega328p handle it?
Starting to get idea's for my Capstone and making a higher res version of the SpokePOV looks like fun (or Hell).

no reason why it cant be done, you'd have to change the firmware, software and it would take more EEPROM
