help!!! project due tmw!!

Post by tinah1 »

Hi all! the spokepov kit was my electronics project for class and its due tmw! i finally got the programming image part down but now im having trouble getting it to light up. if i wave the magnet in front of the sensor, itll light up for a few seconds and then power down. ive tried attaching the magnet to the frame of my bike but i think its too far for the sensor to detect the magnet. any suggestions on how to fix this?

Can you post photos of how you have it mounted now?

If you can get it within 1/8" or so it should be fine. Make sure you have the magnet facing the right way. The hall sensor only works with one side of the magnet.
