Double the spokepovs, double the brightness?

Double the spokepovs, double the brightness?
Assuming you use the same leds on all of your spokepovs, does the image brightness of, say, 3 spoke povs, double when instead you have 6 spokepovs on 1 wheel?

Thanks a lot for the pictures. My goal is not to make it look impressive, but as visible as a paper poster is in sunlight. I see a lot of billboards which use leds and they are visible in the sunlight.kayrock66 wrote:Ya the brightness scales linearally with the number of sticks but keep in mind that day light is something like 1000 times brighter than inside normal lighting.
