Another newbie question....
Anyone cut or engraved Micarta? Observations, suggestions, etc...

Just an update. Tried cutting some 1/4" phenolic/micarta the other day when the laser rep was at my house. At full power and pretty slow it would only burn to un undetermined depth but not cut through.
It was amazing how intense the light was that it emitted. Glad there weren't any Russian Ravers in my shop! (bad joke, what happened to them was horrible but I couldn't pass it up.)
