Etch Breadboard

Post by laprica »

Hey,

I was wondering if it was possible/good idea to user a laser cutter to engrave stuff onto the back of a solderless breadboard, like this https://www.adafruit.com/products/64. (Also, does that breadboard have sticky things on the back?, I guess that's firstly because we wouldn't be a be able to etch it if there's stuff on the back...)

I'm part of a group that's trying to think of a gift to give to some electrical engineering freshmen participating in a hardware hackathon.

There's foam adhesive on the back of the breadboard. I don't know if you can easily scrape it off.
