USB LiIon/LiPoly charger - v1.2 Output Voltage

Post by sblanton315 »

Hello,

I am wondering about the output voltage of the USB LiIon/LiPoly charger - v1.2 unit. If I were to charge with a 5v USB, to a 3.7v battery, what would be the output voltage coming out of the JST connection? Is the battery output boosted back up to the same 5v that you put into the unit, with the 5v usb? or would the output be the 3.7v battery that is hooked up? Or is there a way to regulate the output voltage?

Thanks in advance.

The USB connector is an input only. Batt would be at the proper charging voltage and current for the batteries condition and LOAD would be at 3.7vdc
