AVR MicroTouch Screen Cracked

I cracked the screen. Can I buy a replacement part from Adafruit? What is the process? What is the tape that you used to cover the screen solder connections?

the TFT+touch comes to us preassembled, so we dont have separate touch screens nor a way to remove it (although perhaps you could find a 2.8" Touchscreen from ebay that is compatible)

Maybe I didn't explain correctly. The blue PC board says "Built by Adafruit." I assumed that the TFT + touch assembly is soldered to the board by Adafruit. I was asking if I could buy that whole TFT + touch assembly from Adafruit and unsolder the cracked one and solder in the new one?

yes! you can, except we dont have them in the shop right now...but we will soon (no ETA, we are waiting for more to arrive)

Is the 2.8" 16-bit color TFT LCD with touchscreen breakout board - ID: 335, the LCD on the MicroTouch? Are you ALSO going to carry the bare TFT LCD with touchscreen or do I need to buy #335 to replace my cracked screen?

it is the same screen BUT we will also be carrying the 'raw' screen in the next few weeks (no ETA, we are still waiting on LCD delivery which is delayed)
