16x24 Red LED Matrix Panel - Chainable HT1632C Driver - and text

16x24 Red LED Matrix Panel - Chainable HT1632C Driver - I'm using this board to display text and need to display a string of 8 characters on the bottom but there dosn't seem to be a way to set the text width in the provided library and the size wont go smaller than 1 i need help

24/8=3. Assuming that you want a blank pixel width between characters, that leaves 2 pixels per character. A character drawn in that space would not be legible.

ok sorry about that but we need to display the time which is 7 charachters at the least is that possible

Not really. The minimum width for a decent looking character is 5 pixels (plus one pixel to separate the characters). So for 7 characters you would need 7 x 6 - 1 or 41 pixels. The displays are chainable. If you put two side-by-side you would have 48 pixels to work with.
