Fingerprint Sensor Color

Hello, I recently purchased the fingerprint sensor and so far it works great. I've gotten it to do everything I want it to and just a have a question about the aesthetics of it. I am wondering if the orange light is required for it to work and if it is not then could I change it to another color?

Does Adafruit make this sensor or does it come from somewhere else? If you make it could I custom order one with blue light instead of orange to see if it works? And if someone else makes it could you ask them if they could custom make one or give me a way of asking them myself. I know this may be a lot to ask and I fully understand if you can not do any of this, but it is important to a project I am working on to have the light be blue. It would make a huge difference.
