Hi folks, Don't know if this is the right place, but I've been building various things using your accelerometer breakout board, and one other.
First, it's great quality, and performs to spec. The voltage choices are very convenient, and I find the mounting holes very useful, and the layout of the connections compact, yet not difficult to solder.
My one complaint for human interface projects is the sensitivity range of the sensor (ADXL335) in question.
It's nearly impossible to get any where near it's range limits with human motions. It's generally good, and the range is usable, but I've found the
Freescale MMA7361 is better. It has two selectable ranges 1.5 G, great for what I'm doing, and 6 G, which is great for rocketry projects etc.
I'm using the Modern Devices breakout (which is great, and cheap, but I don't love the layout as much as yours).
Sparkfun also offers one, but it doesn't have 5V regulation.
I'd love it if you added a breakout for this or similar chip. (also the slightly lower cost is also attractive!)
Thanks,
Kevin
