5V 10A switching power supply for multi Pis

Post by ormapper »

I'd like to use a single power source for about 8 Raspberry Pis and I'm wondering if I could use the 5V 10A switching power supply (#658) along with the DIY USB Connector Shells to do it? Remove the barrel plug and wire on the USB connectors.

Yes. That should work. Be sure to double-check the polarity on your USB connectors before actually plugging it into a Pi.
