Hello,
Does anyone know the current handling capacity of the RF T4 receiver boards? I want to use them to control a 12v 1.9amp light. Would I need a relay?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: RF T4 receiver board current handling capacity
We don't have a firm spec from the manufacturer, but they appear to be designed for about 20mA per channel.
Some relays have coils in the 20mA range. But most would need a transistor to energize the coil.
For 12v @ 1.9A, I'd forget the relay and switch power to the lamp with a power MOSFET: https://www.adafruit.com/products/355

Thanks so much Bill, I'll do a little looking at the MOSFET.
