Dear Sirs,
The 1 x Miniature Keyboard- Microcontroller-Friendly PS/2 and USB[ID:857] =$29.95, does not work in PS/2 mode.
https://www.adafruit.com/products/857
This is true in XP Pro machines (bios hangs--will not boot) and Raspberry Pi (with PS/2 Keyboard+Mouse to USB adapter
PRODUCT ID: 971). True with both Raspbian and Occidentalis--even after making the recommended changes with dpkg-reconfigure locals and keyboard. System requirements as listed on the package materials, say the keyboard requires a usb port--no mention of PS/2. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

George

Since you have tried it on several machines and followed the tutorials and it still does not work please send an email to [email protected] with a link to this thread for a replacement.

The replacement keyboard works great in PS/2 and USB modes! Thanks for you fast response. The old keyboard still does not work in PS/2 mode -- even with different adapters, other than the supplied one. Works fine in USB mode.
Do you want me to return it?
Thanks
