Hello all,
Just wanted to ask if the FONA's arduino library & sketch will eventually have the ability to answer incoming calls. I'm able to control the FONA via AT commands with an EZ-LINK and Putty, but I would like to be able to use the Adafruit sketch & library as a starting point to control at least the most basic functions. I'm learning coding for arduino and writing my own library or editing the current one for the FONA is beyond my abilities for now.
Thanks
Scott

When an incoming call comes in, you will see RING on the console (thru EZ-LINK) and can pick up with the "ATA" command!

Is there any way for the Arduino to automatically extract contents from a text message, and use them as a serial command. I'd like to use this method rather than using the serial monitor to control the actions.

Re: Answering incoming FONA call via arduino
You're referring to the FONAtest example sketch? In case 'R', the sms text is sitting in replyBuffer. You can do anything you want with the text. There's no reason why you couldn't replace the part of the code that reads from the serial monitor with the code from case 'R', and use that text as a command.

Hello, I noticed one can setup an interrupt pin (UART_RI) on the FONA that asserts low when a sms message has been received. How does one set that up. Can you post an example using the AT commands? I know this line drives low when calls are received by default but needs to be setup for sms.
