Sorry to hear that, I'm sure you could e-mail this thread to support and they'll help you out.
Lastly, the RST thing:
*Power up Audio FX from an Arduino
*Connect the RST pin and trigger a digitalWrite which should cause it to fire
Using the RST when it's in "usb" mode connected to a PC I think does nothing.
I think it basically can't be in both modes at the same time...but I haven't seen that in any documentation.

Re: Audio FX Sound Board
Took a look at Admin Tools but could not find a "snap in" thingy. I also took a look at the other thread you offered, but it mentioned unplugging all other drives and doing other stuff that's over my head.
My sound board has been connected to my computer for .... about 5 minutes now, still no recognition by Windows 7.
Is Halloween going to be less than I hoped for?

and about the reset, all you should have to do is while powering it NOT from a pc (usb power bank, etc) is bring it to ground per the docs, which is what I have tried a number of times:
Rst - this is the reset pin, you probably don't need to use this pin but when tied to ground it resets the board.

Right, that is what I meant, I was making an assumption many folks are using these with Arduino platforms. This is the method I used when one of my boards acted up.smolz wrote:and about the reset, all you should have to do is while powering it NOT from a pc (usb power bank, etc) is bring it to ground per the docs, which is what I have tried a number of times:

Below is my output from the Admin tool's -> computer management -> storage tab

Re: Audio FX Sound Board
My storage tab does not show adafruit before or after reseting the board. Darn.
