I am using a nano 5v to read the codes for a IR device. I am using the sketch on the learn page for the sensor using a trinket/gemma. i am getting output from the sketch but it does not seem to be correct. I get this.

this is for the button 1 and i get similar data for the other buttons. I am at a loss. I am using the sketch from the learning blog.
I am using the remote that Adafruit sells and the IR receiver as well.

Post a photo of your hardware and connections and we'll see if those give us any clues.

I'm afraid the image didn't come through.
You can post images directly to the forum using the "Choose File" button below the text area where you compose a message. The forum limits file sizes to 1MB, but 800x600 images usually work well.
