Reading the description on INFRAGRAM DIY PLANT ANALYSIS WEBCAM (http://www.adafruit.com/products/1722) I get the idea that I could use the infragram filter (http://store.publiclab.org/products/inf ... lter-pack) on an Adafruit TTL Serial JPEG Camera (https://www.adafruit.com/product/613) to get infrared photos of plant? Note: Camera pictures only - not looking at video.
Do I need the INFRAGRAM DIY PLANT ANALYSIS WEBCAM or can I use my existing Adafruit TTL Serial JPEG Camera?
I didn't notice any code for the Infragram Webcam, is it controlled by a PC that it is connected to or can you control it by an Arduino?
I have a Adafruit TTL Serial JPEG Camera and coded to control by an Arduino, hence why I'm curious if I can get the same images with this camera
Thank you!

Re: INFRAGRAM DIY PLANT ANALYSIS WEBCAM?
You should be able to make the Infragram filter work with the TTL camera you have now.
All CCDs are sensitive to infrared light, to the point where digital camera makers put a filter on the lens to keep the IR spectrum from swamping out everything else. To get near-infrared images you need to remove any such filter, but the TTL camera from our shop doesn't have one. It's already made to take IR photos, so all you need to do is add Infragram's 'infrablue' filter.

FYI - for anyone else looking to use the TTL for Infagram photos we disconnected the outer IR ring with IR sensor and IR Leds.
