Hi. Perhaps this is an obvious question, but can this product (1994) be used to charge an iPad effectively? Is there any impediment, like the dreaded message that the device does not support the charger which comes up too often?

5V 2A Switching Power Supply w/ USB-A Connector

If so, it is a terrific replacement for the much more expensive ones from the iPad's manufacturer, which don't seem to last long.

Just plugged my iPad Air into one and it seems to be charging happily.
