Hello, tech support folks. I bought this a little over a month ago: https://www.adafruit.com/products/1748
This is the 5V version of the infrared, wireless temperature sensor from Melexis. I've had it sitting around until I was finally ready to start integrating it into my project. I saw the markings on the side of the can and checked the datasheet to make sure I had been sent the right part. From the datasheet, the 5V version should be marked "AAA..", the first 'A' indicating 5V. However, my part reads "BAA..", meaning that I have the 3V version.

I emailed customer service about but they defaulted to you guys (the forums), saying that all of their 5V versions look like that.
So, my question is, do I really have the correct part, or is Adafruit sending out the wrong version? Help much appreciated.

From the photo, that is a 3.3v part. Please contact [email protected] with a link to this thread and they will get you the correct part.
