So, if you enter "5", the sketch still prints out "Enrolling ID #0"?

Or does it print out the ID number you enter?

Hi, same problem here, but if I write for example 4 it prints
"Enrolling ID #4"
but it remember this finger on ID #0, previous fingers were removed from FP sensor. I used the newest library from GH,
can anyone help me?

hi admin, now i am currently working with adafruit finngerprintsensor(R305 V1.6) with arduino ide with adafruit fingerprint sensor library using linux . i got problem while running example program of adafruit fingerprint sensor library, it not getting my input as id, it generate automatically. while i give integer value as id it doesn`t anything and while i give non integer value like alphabet it takes as id #0, #111 and somemore... pls help me to get desired output for arduino example programs of adafruit fingerprint sensor library.... thanks in advance...

In Serial Monitor, make sure you have it set to send CR and NL. There's a dropdown on the bottom of the serial monitor window where you select this.
