I just received the MAX4466 based electret microphone amp, adafruit part number 1063, and I can't seem to get any signal out of it. I set it up and powered it identically to a similar board (the MAX9814 based auto gain control version) which was working fine, but the MAX4466 is the one I really want to use, and it's giving me nothing.

Hoping to get some advice here, or else an authorized replacement part from Adafruit.
