Lipoly Battery for Trinket

Post by firmwareengineer »

Hi I want to purchase a lipoly battery(LP 401235) for an application I have which is rather odd. I need to measure temperature inside a unit which gets pretty hot. It needs to be battery powered as the internal voltages are very high (few hundred KV) and I do not have access to DC without a ton of conversion which I do not have the room for. So a battery is needed. However the temperature is very hot, (100C) so the question is what is the battery rated for? This is probably out of the range of what the battery can handle but just need to confirm.

Is there any way to mount all but the sensor outside the enclosure? You are correct in that the battery is not rated for 100C. It looks like the max is 45C
