Would anyone else like to see this a clear acrylic bash guard instead of its current black-plastic case?

Yes, it is a tool ! But I think a black PCB sandwiched between acrylic would elevate it just a bit.

If it is I'd love to copy it and extend it to add a few standoff holes...
