Hello,
I bought the kit a few weeks ago. I built it and used it. I use windows 7 with avr studio 4. It worked for about a week. I knocked the Attiny2313 out of its socket during use one day (I hadn't put the covers on yet) and mistakenly put it in backwards, thus shorting it out. I had a bunch of new attiny2313s on hand because they are my chip of choice. Upon inserting the new chip, the device refused to even light up. I checked the seating several times and it continues to not work. Is there any way that I could have damaged any other parts of the kit? It worked before and there is no obvious damage.
Thanks,
Seth

Are they blank chips? Or do they have the USBTinyISP firmware burned in? http://www.adafruit.com/products/54I had a bunch of new attiny2313s on hand because they are my chip of choice. Upon inserting the new chip, the device refused to even light up.
