You have the USBtinyISP firmware loaded on the ATtiny? Should just run. What does the board appear as in Device Manager? Is it a USBtinyISP?

No i just bought the chip without any software. And I cant load the drivers... So should I load the USBtinyISP firmware - or is this the same as the drivers? Sorry but I realy dont know...
Thank you

You'll need to program the chip with the USBtiny firmware. Unfortunately, you'll need a programmer to do that. So, unless you have another working USBtinyISP, you're kind of stuck.
We have a pre-programmed chip in the shop:

ouuu haha :( Can I do it with an Arduino?
I think that you guys are all pros, so i will just ask you, I am trying to use the USBtiny as an USB to parallel adapter, is it even posible to work?

Yes, actually, you can. See these tutorials:kasti wrote:Can I do it with an Arduino?

Hmmm... Not sure you've got enough pins for that. You'd have to use the 10pin output. I guess with 8 pins for data, 1 pin for GND, and 1 pin for a clock, it could work, but in one direction only (i.e., it would be write-only or read-only). Of course, you'd have to write your own firmware.kasti wrote:I am trying to use the USBtiny as an USB to parallel adapter, is it even posible to work?

Re: USBtiny and Windows 8.1 Drivers (Lib USB 1.2.6.0)
Some of the issues described in this thread are possibly caused by a flaw in the bootloader. These issues include Device Manager showing an unknown device attached due to being unable to read the Device Descriptor. The bootloader flaw is that it does not disconnect from the USB before it passes control to the user sketch. With the bootloader not placing the USB D+ and D- lines in the SE0 state, the device will appear to be connected to the USB as a low speed device as soon as it is plugged in due to the pullup resistor on D-. However, unless the bootloader is running, the host will not be able to communicate with the device, and this can cause various errors. This is an issue on the Trinket, Trinket Pro, Gemma, and probably others. See my post in viewtopic.php?f=20&t=17191 for the solution to this problem.
