Hi, cannot get this to work at all. The green led does not light when plugged into USB and the computer does not recognize it. It has never worked.
It was built from one of your kits, supplied by your re-seller in S c o t l a n d (banned spam word apparently) ROTFL.
My computer is Windows 7 64bit.
What I have done to try and resolve it myself...
I have reworked all the solder joints. There is a bit of a mess around zener D1. I replaced the diode with a new one since the photo - just in case that was the fault.
I removed IC1 and tested the LED's. Both light when 5v is applied to the IC socket pins 9 (green) and 12 (red).
Also whilst IC1 was removed I tested the zener diodes and found these both to read 2.66v.
I tried powering it both with the jumper and without.
I don't have an oscilloscope, so I can't test XTL1.

Re: Non-working USBtinyISP
It appears to have been properly assembled. I suspect that the processor is not programmed correctly. Please contact [email protected] with a link to this thread and request a new processor.
