Gemma and mac

Post by tatif »

Hi,
I've tried in three different mac computers, all of them with different types of USB and using different timings to upload the code to Gemma, but I still cannot make the Blink test work. Anyone can help me with the problem?

I tried with BANNED and Mountain Lion, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, but always the same error "avrdude: Error: Could not find USBtiny device (0x1781/0xc9f)"

Thanks.

Do they have wireless mice or VMware? there have reports of conflicts with these and USBtinyISP access.

I'm also having similar troubles with Gemma and OSX
Adafruit Arduino 105 sees flora but not gemma.
Should the usb drivers appear automatically? I'm only seeing the modem ones
thanks
Nick

No. The Gemma/Trinket does not appear in the list of ports. If you select Gemma or Trinket as the board type, the IDE will automatically look for them

You don't select a port when you are using Gemma. Ignore the Ports menu.
Please refer to the tutorial, where this is discussed in detail.
