I have a USBTINYISP 2.0 (2 micros on board) and i just got my chip in the mail today to program. It says my chips firmware is outdated and needs to update to version 2.0 (like AVRstudio) When I try to update, it loads, and before it starts to update, it says "no programmer found"
Any clue why? The chip's pins are connected right. I got power to the chip (as why it said its outdated) but oddly it thinks theres no programmer.
If needed, i got no crystals on the microcontroller.
If this helps,
USBTINYISP <-> STK500 says its processing the update as AVRstudio says no programmer found. and when i clicked cancel and read flash and eeprom, it was able to receive the hex files and save to my PC. but i cant program it? :S
AVRStudio Requests update, no programmer found?
