It might just be me, but...

Post by GeekQuixotic »

Hi,

I recently bought the USBTinyISP kit and put it together. I have four different chips I've tried including a known-good one out of my (still working) Arduino Uno.

I don't own a scope but my probing with my meter at the chip and at the board say all is well. The red light blinks appropriately. I'm running as root in all cases.

Per the questions:
FIRST: I'm using the kit I assembled.
SECOND: I've tried two different Macs and a Raspberry Pi.
THIRD: avrdude with two Atmega168-20PUs, one Atmega328-20PU, and the Atmega328P right out of my Uno.
FOURTH: Never worked yet.
FIFTH: See below
SIXTH: See below
