Trinket 'unknown device' (Windows 7)

Post by andrewa »

Hi all-

A bit of searching on this didn't turn up anything recent. Any new information on connectivity to Windows 7 (x64) machines?

One solution does seem to be using a hub, even if connecting through USB 2.0 (not 3.0).

Whew.

... but only for a short bit...

The hub does let me see the Trinket, while the bootloader is glowing the red LED; a device in the libusb-win32 tree. If you try to download in that narrow window, it works.

Tricky. Very tricky.

Yes, press the Reset window and you have 10 seconds to upload. That is how it was designed.
