Onoes, it dies!

Post by jbhemlock »

Howdy! I bought a USBTinyISP kit to program my SpokePOV with. I'm fairly experienced with building kits, and this one seemed pretty straightforward. Sadly, though, it doesn't work. I've tried it both on my MacBook Pro with the SpokePOV SW, and on a Winders desktop, and it's unrecognized under either. The Windows machine will not install either the SpokePOV USB dongle or the USBTinyISP USB drivers, which makes me suspect that I screwed something up pretty badly. Any ideas where I could start looking at this?

Here are front and back pictures of the board. The only nonstandard bits are the leds - my kit was missing them, so I substituted a couple that were sized appropriately.

Thanks in advance!

also check the resistor values, are those 15K resistors in there instead of 1.5?

Doh! That's it! All the 1.5k resistors in there are actually 15k. I'll swap them out for some 1.5s and see if that takes care of it. Thanks!
