How do I get this? I have posted in the forums and waited.... and waited.... and waited. I am actually a very happy customer so far with Adafruit. However, one of the reasons is because I expect help when I need it. I am not sure if I need to return my item or not.
This post is really just to check and see if anyone from Adafruit is actually checking these posts or not. I would like someone to respond to my issue with my USBtinyISP posts in the appropriate forum subtopic.
Thanks.
I was expecting Adafruit to respond to my question.

So, on Thursday you highjacked anothe ongoing thread with your problem and because no Adafruit personell found your buried post you are complaining? Please start a thread of your own and post the problem you are having, pictures of your board and the connections to it and the code you are running and I will be glad to get you the help you need.

Are you serious?
So much for my opinion of Adafruit (at least the help section). I am pretty sure your response wouldn't be how Limor would want you to represent the company.
I posted my question in the appropriate section of the forums. The posts are highlighted when there is a new post... not really hard to find. (not to mention it is your job)
How is it that your instructions tell me to find the relevant content on the forums and then ask questions...yet when I do so I am accused of "hijacking a post"? You want a new post for every single question? Regardless if it is the same content as others posted already?

Re: I was expecting Adafruit to respond to my question.
I'm sorry if you misunderstood my comment but when you post a new problem to the end of someone elses thread it is likely to be overlooked because that thread has been addressed previously. We do look at new threads but that does not mean we catch up on all old threads immediately. If you need help please continue this thread or start another with a more appropriate title relating to your problem.

Re: I was expecting Adafruit to respond to my question.
I do still need help.
However, I am not interested in bickering with you or being accused of doing something I didn't do. I followed your (Adafruit's) instructions before posting.
I posted a lot of details in the relevant forum subtopic that I still don't have an answer to. I can take pictures if you want but I am sure you know what an Arduino UNO R3 looks like and a USBtinyISP. That is all I am working with here. I am writing the 'blink' sketch (as well as others) to it using 'upload using programmer'. I am getting inconsistent results. I don't know how to be any more clear. It works perfect sometimes and not sometimes. I read all of the problems others were having in the relevant section of the forum and troubleshot prior to asking my questions. Another forum member did respond to my question but indicated that he also gave up on trying to get it working. I purchased the programmer after researching it on the Adafruit site and wanted to learn about it and use it for programming of barebones Arduino prototypes. I'm not sure if it is working properly or if there is a compatibility issue going on here with the Arduino IDE.
Please advise.

Yes, it would be nice if you posted detailed pictures of your completed USBtinyISP from both sides showing the soldering and the board you are using to program your chips on. It would also help if you could capture the output of the install for us to look at. Thanks. You might also try here http://savannah.nongnu.org/forum/forum. ... um_id=7719 for avrdude help or here http://arduino.cc/en/Hacking/BuildProcess for info on the Arduino build process.
