Ugh, your killing me! haha. Well actually having the files in the folder helped alot, I now have the drivers installed and "libusb-win32 devices" shows up with "Arduino Gemma" below it.

Now I enter the bootloader by pressing the reset button on the gemma and I start the upload of the blink program from the arduino IDE. Then the upload fails and I get this error (see screenshot). In the tutorial is says to update the USBtiny drivers but it also references that the device manager should say USBtiny and mine does not, do I have to updtae the USBtiny drivers?

Please help

Thanx I did, I actually got it to load the blink program. I tried to add a -F to the baginning of my code and I got an error. Then I removed that line and it worked. Crazy. Can you point me to some neopixel sample code?

Thanx Adafruit for the support. I was able to run the strandtest code on my gemma last night and it's pretty cool. Besides actually having the files in your downloads can I suggest that you make a note on the gemma page to explain that the pinouts are the same for the black and teal versions although the markings are different? All the examples for gemma are for the older black model and the Vout pin is now labeled Vin on the teal model. Since the gemma page is the starting point for learning it would be good to clarify this strange disconnect.

Thanx again for your help!

Hi, back from my IOT conference, trying once again to get the teal gemma to work.
I did the install, updated the arduino ide to 1.6.4, picked the gemma board and gemma programmer, get this error message for blink:

What am I doing wrong now?
Thanks,

I guess I should have also said, and the blink program doesn't work. The LED doesn't blink at all.
