I'm looking to purchase an Arduino Starter Pack as a gift for my bf. Should I go with the standard Starter Pack or the Experiment Kit? What's the difference between the two?
Are there any accessories that I should purchase with the Pack? Does he need any special tools? Would that Ladyada toolkit be a good addition? This stuff is all new to me, so I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks
What else do I buy??

Re: What else do I buy??
Both are excellent kits. The Experimentors Kit is a little more structured with a few more parts and a printed guide. The Starter Pack has everything you need for lessions 0-5 of the on-line Adafruit tutorials. http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_page=tutorials Both are open ended kits and the parts are interchangeable.
The sensor pack is a nice addition to either kit, http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=176
as are any of the shields.http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... Path=17_21
For building shields, the LadyAda toolkit has all the necessary tools.
Also, check out the book selection here:http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... x&cPath=40
