ATmega32u4 and mac

Post by mayotte1 »

I just bought a ATmega32u4 board and plan on using the usual Arduino 0022 program on my Mac. Under tools and boards, it doesn't list this board or any with leonardo boot. Should I be trying some other program on my mac please? Thanks in advance.

Arduino 1.0 isn't quite officially released yet, but you can download Release Candidate 2 here:

http://code.google.com/p/arduino/wiki/Arduino1

Select "Leonardo" under the "Boards" menu and you should be golden. (Provided it's one of the latest batch of boards with the Leonardo Bootloader preinstalled.)
