bad board???

I tried installing the drivers on the UNO I received in my starter pack but it is showing up as "Unknown Device". I did about everything in these forums, but here's the error:

I tried installing the drivers on the UNO

Which drivers did you try to install? When the Device Manager asks you for the driver location, browse to the "drivers" folder inside your Arduino install folder. DO NOT select the FTDI USB Drivers folder inside that one!

The drivers themselves don't show up in the browser, but select that folder and the Device Manager should find "Arduino UNO.inf" and install it.
