Arduino Uno R3 not picked up on Windows

Post by bito001 »

Hi,

My Arduino Uno R3 doesn't seems to work.
I tried to plug it with 2 different USB cables (the one in the pack + another one) and on 2 computers (windows 7 and 8) and the result is the same:
When I plug it I have the "ON" led green and the "L" orange led blinking on the card but Windows doesn't pick up anything. I don't have the usual sound when you plug a new USB device and when I go to the device manager there is no new hardware detected.
I also tried to plug/unplug the card while checking if in device manager > Universal Serial Bus Controllers some new hardware was detected but nothing change.

Am I missing something?

Thanks

Gauthier

Sounds like a bad board. Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread for a replacement
