Hi,
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to working with breadboards.
As mentioned in the posts I've just read, the breadboard referenced in Tutorial 2 isn't the same as the one shipped in the Starter pack. That said, one responder mentioned that you could "do point-to-point wiring" or something else to designate a row as being positive or negative. I have no desire to blow out the LED because it isn't wired properly.
Can someone who's worked with the Ting #65 mini breadboard provide some enlightenment?

Here is the breadboard connections shown in tutorial #2 -
Most "standard" breadboards have "rails" running along the outside edges (typically used for V+ and GND as seen in diagram above)
The main difference between those and the tiny breadboard is that the tiny does not have those rails....it's essentially just the center part of a normal breadboard.
Using a tiny breadboard, the LED wiring would look more like this -
