Hi,
I found this site after watching your youtube vid for the firewalker shoes. I've had a look around and I'm feeling super inspired, particularly about creating wearables!
I know NOTHING about electronics but I was thinking of starting out buy buying the arduino starter pack and following the ladyada lessons.
Firstly, I'm wondering is this too ambitious, should I be looking at something simpler?
Secondly, if I buy the kit and then buy a US to UK adapter am I good to go? Please tell me it will be this easy!
Are there any major differences between US and UK lingo I need to be aware of?
Any feedback will be greatly appreciated, really eager to start learning!
Thanks, Linden

The starter pack is a good beginner kit. It contains enough components to get you through many of the lessons in the Learning System. https://learn.adafruit.com/search?q=arduino+lesson
The adapter supplied will work on UK mains voltage with an adapter.
Many of our products are also available thorough UK distributors: https://www.adafruit.com/distributors
