Breadboard buses are shorted.

Post by nunderhill »

Hi,

I received the Arduino experimenters kit. However, on my second project I finally tracked the problem I was having down to the fact that the +ve and -ve buses on one side of the breadboard are actually connected together!! I verified this with the continuity tester on my multimeter and I get continuity between a wire inserted into the -ve bus and one inserted anywhere else on the +ve bus next to it. It doesn't happen on the buses on the opposite side.

I'm a little bit disappointed, as this seems to be a major quality defect. Can you please supply me with a replacement as soon as possible. Also as I have now mounted the breadboard on the base unit, I guess I will need a new one of those too

Nick
