Menta and tin not playing nice

Just assembled and successfully tested my Menta, but was disappointed to find that it would not fit inside the provided tin. Wasn't that the point of rounding the corners? Did Altoids go metric without telling anyone?

hi uber! it's press-fitted, so we usually slide it in "nose first and then pop it in. check out becky's video here:

Thanks for the quick response, and great video link Phil.
Sounds good. I was about to reverse the polarity on my resistors to see if that would help.
Press fit it is then.
