MintyBoost Boarduino

Post by steam automaton »

Dear Readers:

I have just bought a DC Boarduino and a MintyBoost. [Ordered Monday, here Wednesday :D ] Both are going to be mated into a single project. I believe that I will not need all the parts to connect the two (the USB port, 2.1mm Power Jack ).

:?: My question is, "What parts can be eliminated if I am using the MintyBoost as the power supply for the DC Boarduino and how would they be connected?" I am on a slight time crunch, otherwise, I would figure this out. Also, I am assuming someone has done this already.

Thank you in advance,
Steam Automaton

you can leave out the USB port, and just connecet the ground and 5V out to the ground and 5V pins of the boarduino

Dear adafruit:

Thank you, for the quick response in answering my question and product delivery. :D

I was planning to connect the Boarduino without the 5 volt regulator, but I will assume that the MintyBoost output is not that regulated.

Thank you,
